Fun!!

This is just some randomness from the week:) Owen really does love Luke. He LOVES to take pictures of him too. Here are pictures of Luke by Owen:

Owen was playing with Luke and was so cute I had to get a few shots and then we did a self portrait of the three of us:)
Luke is loving having his Nana here and of course loves his daddy!
And here are a few beach pictures from yesterday in no order. It was pretty gloomy but not too cold (besides the water!) and we enjoyed a couple of hours with Paige and Dylan just hanging out. Nathan and Owen had fun playing some football with Dylan and Ian and Jacob walked a good chunk of the beach together. I followed them for a while without them knowing and took some pictures:) Cute to see them interacting. Nana kept Luke and he finally gave up and passed out. I am so greatful I bought our little three sided tent last year. It is working out great to have a place to let him rest when he needs it and to help keep him out of the sun. Today we are having friends over and enjoying fish tacos and yummy sides and dessert to "celebrate" our last real night with Nana here as Ian gets underway tomorrow and she leaves before he returns. The kids are already drooling at the thought of their coveted fish tacos!

Jogathon!

Jacob and Nathan had their school jogathon this past week and Ian was lucky enough to be able to take the day off so he could go and run with them. So, he Owen and Nana headed down there. Unfortunately Owen was not okay with him running so he did not get to run too much but he was still there to cheer them on and take some pictures. After the kids got off of school and Owen had a much needed nap they headed down to Coronado and fished off the pier. They all behaved and got along and Ian said it was a great afternoon. Owen keeps asking when Luke can go fishing too:) One day I will send all FIVE of them off and have a ME day. Someday!! Here are jogathon pictures

Mt Soledad

Driving up to Mt. Soledad has been on my "bucket list" for a decade now. How sad that it took until NOW to finally go. We were on our way home and Ian made a wrong turn so we went driving and he suggested we head up there. Why not? So we did. What a gorgeous look out. We all needed a potty break so we were only there a short time. Just enough time for Nathan to give me a heart attack trying to hang off a cliff....(that child!!!) We will for sure be going back. I want to go back and see the sun set and all the city lights!

Sea Port Village with the Nana

It was cold and yucky out yesterday but today turned into a GORGEOUS day so we decided to get out and enjoy it! I have been wanting to go walk around Sea Port Village for a while so that is what we did. There are lots of little shops and eateries and its right on the water so you get to see all the sail boats. We had a good time and thankfully the Owen fits were minimal. Here are pictures in no real order....
