Pinewood Derby Take TWO

Last week Jacob participated in his second pinewood derby. Ian has been so busy working that it was hard to carve out even a few hours to make a car but he managed to do it and even managed to attend part of the derby. Jacob did better than last year but was still not pleased that he was not the winner. Here are some pictures of him making his car and of the derby.

Don't you just "love" the picture above? I asked them for a nice picture and got more than one like this. I "promised" Jacob I was blogging it. So here I am keeping my promise.

This last one is of a heat where Jacob took the win! His car is obviously the blue one on the left.
