Its back pack time!

Thanks again to Operation Homefront! Today the boys got to go to a back pack giveaway and pick out new backpacks for the school year. They had the set up done very nicely where they had a lady help them pick the right sizes for each of them and then they got to go down a line where various people filled the back packs with paper, crayons, pens, pencils, glue, folders etc. Poor Nathan was about falling over by the end. The Padres mascot was also there and handing out baseball cards. We even got Owen a little set with a new bowl and plate and silverware. Super cute! The boys also were chosen to win a Guitar for Guitar Hero for xbox. I have no clue what we are going to do with the thing because it did not come with the actual game just the guitar? After getting all their "goods" they got to get bags with dental supplies and decorate a sugar cookie for the road. They are both really excited to have their new backpacks (especially Nathan who is counting the days, minutes and seconds until school starts)!
